ADVANCED VETERINARY WOUND CARE POWERED BY SCX TECHNOLOGY
Protects • Regenerates • Supports Healing
KAdermin VET is a veterinary wound-care range designed to protect animal skin lesions, support tissue repair and create a favourable environment for healing. Developed from KAdermin wound-care expertise, it combines patented SCX Technology with regenerative ingredients adapted to exudative and non-exudative lesions.
ONE TECHNOLOGY. TWO COMPLEMENTARY FORMULATIONS.
Targeted care for wet, exudative lesions and dry, non-exudative lesions.
The Clinical Need
Animal skin injuries require prompt, clean and protected care. Animals are frequently exposed to cuts, abrasions and skin lesions caused by daily activity, trauma, pressure or surgery. Licking, dirt, friction and environmental exposure may increase the risk of microbial contamination. Local protection, exudate management and support for tissue repair are therefore essential components of veterinary wound care.
How KAdermin VET Supports Wound Care
PROTECTS
Helps protect the wound from microbial contamination.
MANAGES
Supports moisture balance and exudate control.
REGENERATES
Supports tissue repair and re-epithelialisation.
SUPPORTS HEALING
Creates a favourable local healing environment.
Advanced SCX Technology
At the core of KAdermin VET is patented SCX Technology: a functionalised silicon-dioxide system with silver ions and chlorhexidine. Its complementary antimicrobial action helps reduce microbial contamination at the wound site and maintain a protected local environment. The technology is combined with formulation-specific ingredients that address the condition of the wound.
Targeted Regenerative Support
Both formulations contain hyaluronic acid to support an optimal wound environment, tissue repair and re-epithelialisation. Each formulation then adds an ingredient selected for the specific needs of the wound: kaolin in the spray and dimethicone in the cream.
KADERMIN VET POWDER SPRAY
For wet or exudative lesions
Hyaluronic acid supports tissue repair and hydration, while kaolin absorbs excess exudate and helps maintain an appropriate moisture balance. Choose the spray when:
the wound bed is moist
exudate is moderate to high
exudate control is required
skin integrity is compromised
KADERMIN VET CREAM
For dry or non-exudative lesions
Hyaluronic acid supports tissue repair and hydration, while dimethicone forms a breathable protective barrier and helps protect the wound and peri-wound skin. Choose the cream when:
the wound bed is dry
exudate is low or absent
hydration is required
barrier protection is needed

CLINICAL CASES ON HORSE TRAUMATIC LESIONS
Based on clinical cases evaluation, signs of infection disappeared with SCX powder spray daily application and complete wound healing was achieved within 5 days, without any antibiotic therapy. The results of this study confirm that SCX powder spray is an effective device in veterinary medicine, useful for promoting healing of horse traumatic wounds and for preventing microbial contamination even in the absence of antibiotic therapy.
